Niki became the practice owner and principal dentist of Brookview Dental Care in October
2016. She was born and raised in Athens, Greece and at the age of 19 she pursued University
studies abroad. Niki studied Microbiology in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada and she graduated
with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Glasgow, Scotland.
Since graduating as a dentist she worked extensively in general practice and community
services in Glasgow, Nottinghamshire and Nottingham City covering a wide range of services
for children and adults including the provision of dental implants, conscious sedation and
domiciliary care.
In 2014, Niki graduated from King’s College London (KCL) with a Masters in Fixed and
Removable Prosthodontics; a degree that advanced her knowledge in dental techniques,
minimally invasive dentistry and cosmetic dentistry.
Niki spends most of her spare time enjoying time with her husband, two children and her two
Jack Russell Terriers. She loves travelling, and it’s guaranteed that during the summer you can
find her somewhere in Greece; be sure to ask her for tips on the Greek Islands and food
recipes.
Frazer was previously the principal dentist at Bupa Dental Care Loughborough and practice owner of YourSmile Dental Care. Frazer is a general dentist with a special interest in implants and sedation of which he has over 15 years experience. He is a member of SAAD (the society for advancement of anaesthesia in dentistry) and has been a mentor for dentists starting IV sedation. He has also spent over a decade training newly qualified dentists post-graduation.
Outside of dentistry Frazer is an active member of Ex Round tabler, enjoys sailing and his garden. For the last couple of years Frazer and his wife have been learning to play croquet with all its frustrations!
Anum graduated from the University of Birmingham in 2014 and completed Foundation Training in Sutton Coldfield.
Over the years she has worked in both NHS and private dental practices and also for the Prison Service. Anum completed her Postgraduate Certificate in Dental Education in 2020, and now teaches undergraduate dental students at the University of Birmingham. She enjoys general dentistry and in 2021 she became an Invisalign Go Plus provider.
Outside of work Anum enjoys cooking, playing squash and watching football with her husband.
Rob qualified from Birmingham Dental Hospital in 1992. In 1998 he gained a certificate in restorative dentistry from St Ann’s in Manchester, and in 1999 also successfully completed an implant dentistry course. In 2013 he attended a course to refresh on antral lift procedure including using the crestal approach method, and has completed several cases by this less invasive method since.
After qualifying Rob worked as an associate in Bromsgrove carrying out routine dentistry and Oral Surgery under General Anaesthetic. He also worked in a local Oral Surgery department. In 1995 he became a partner in a Practice based in Coventry and since 2010 alongside working there, he has worked with several practices providing an implant and advanced restorative service for their patients in their own practice.
Joe qualified from Sheffield Dental School in 2011. He moved to the Nottingham area in 2012 and has worked in a combination of NHS and private dentistry since.
Joe takes pride in providing high quality, friendly, general dentistry. He particularly enjoys helping anxious patients overcome their fear of dentistry. Joe has an interest in Root Canal Treatments and restorative dentistry.
Outside of dentistry Joe enjoys spending time with his young family and keeping fit where he can.
Laura began her career in dentistry as a dental nurse in 2010, after which she graduated with a BSc in Dental Hygiene and Therapy (Clinical Distinction) from the University of Birmingham in 2016. Since qualifying Laura has worked in general practice and for Community Dental Services where she developed skills such as providing inhalation sedation for anxious patients, performing preventative dentistry and being involved in epidemiology by examining dental school surveys.
As a Dental Therapist Laura will work alongside the other clinicians in the practice to treat periodontal disease and some aspects of general dentistry such as extractions of teeth for children, the taking of radiographs and the placement of fillings in both adults and children.
Outside of work Laura enjoys spending time with her family and friends; she especially enjoys long walks with her dog and young daughter.
Erika graduated from the Dental Medical Faculty of the University of Lisbon in 1999 as a Dental Hygienist. She worked for 12 years for the Portuguese Government, where she gained experience with nervous patients, children and vulnerable people. Erika has been working in general dental practice in Nottingham, Derby and Leicester since 2015. She is a member of the British Society of Dental Hygiene and Therapy.
In her spare time she loves spending time with her two children. She also enjoys reading, gardening and painting.
Jacqui joined Brookview Dental Care in 2005 and is enjoying helping patients to be confident and dentally fit. She is caring, professional and a dedicated member of the team.
Apart from enjoying being a Mum and Grandma, she enjoys walking in the countryside with her dog.
Julie qualified as a dental nurse in 1992 and she has post qualifications in Radiography and Fluoride Application. She recently gained experience in assisting in the placing of Dental Implants.
Julie is married and shares her life with her feathered Children! Yes, she has 5 parrots!
Music is a big part of her life and she spend most of my weekends away supporting the band ‘Doctor And The Medics’. She creates and sells merchandise for them at shows and she runs a successful fan page for them.
Having worked in hospitality and accounting, Joanna made the decision to pursue a career in dental nursing in September 2015. She qualified in January 2017 and has now joined our team. Joanna has lots to offer and is looking forward to increasing her nursing skills set and assisting with the range of treatments we provide.
She enjoys reading, going to bingo with friends and walking her dog in the countryside with her family.
Linda joined the practice in April 2024. She is an experienced dental nurse working in the dental sector for an incredible 44 years. She has always loved the job; looking after patient welfare is what she loves the most about it.
Linda has lived in the area for 23 years and lives with her husband and two cats. She enjoys spending time around the house and garden, and loves going on Cruises with her husband, visiting many interesting places around Europe. She also enjoys doing treasure trails which involve following clues and solving intricate mysteries.
Jenni is Rob’s implant Co-ordinator and nurse. She qualified from the London Hospital Dental Institute in 1979 with both the hospital and national certificate in Dental Nursing. In December 2007 she passed the National Certificate in Dental Radiology. She has completed NVQ’s in business administration (level 3), team leading (level 3) and management (level 5). She has also completed Nobel Biocare courses on implant dentistry.
After qualifying Jenni worked on the Children’s department at the London Hospital, and was promoted to Senior Nurse. She then worked in a busy North London NHS practice. After a break from nursing while her children grew up, she returned to the profession in 2002.
She has worked with Rob in his Practice since 2003 as his Practice Manager and implant Co-ordinator.
Louise joined the team in January 2018, and is looking forward to helping the practice achieve its goals.
Louise has been involved in dentistry for 34 years, starting as a dental nurse and later covering reception/admin work after the birth of her children. She has worked in busy practices in Nottingham and a specialist orthodontic practice.
Louise enjoys walking and spending time in her garden. In the past she was a very keen badminton league player.
Stephen is providing management support to the team and assisting in the smooth running of the practice.
Occasionally you’ll see him on reception.
He used to play hockey, but now enjoys watching live sport, music and comedy with friends and long walks in Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire with his wife, two children and two Jack Russell Terriers.
